Current Account

The current account is the perfect option to start your relationship with us, as it provides you with an easy and effective way to manage your daily financial life.

Terms

  •         Customer must be at least 18 years old.

  •         The minimum balance required to open the account is 100 Jordanian Dinars (JOD) or the equivalent amount in foreign currencies.

  •         The account is subject to a low balance fee of 1 JOD per month.

  •         The account will be frozen after one year of inactivity (no deposits or withdrawals).

  •         A dormant account fee of 2 JOD per month, with a maximum of 6 JOD, will be applied to all customer accounts.

  •        No profit is paid on this account.

  •        The bank reserves the right to reject an account opening request without providing the customer with the reasons for the rejection.

  •        Customers with special needs can benefit from all the products and services offered by the bank.

Required Documents

 

  •         A valid proof of identity is required (Civil Status ID, Military Appointment Certificate, valid residence permit for non-residents, passport and proof of residence for non-Jordanians, birth certificate for minors, special card for Gazans residing in Jordan, special identification card for the Syrian community, or identification card for children of Jordanian mothers).
  •             Proof of income is required (employment contract, salary certificate, work license, business registration certificate, or income verification document).
  •             The bank reserves the right to request any additional documents it deems necessary.
